Make sure you have read the TWALK Rules.

Every team needs a designated Team Leader. The leader must have sufficient prior outdoor and navigation experience to look after their team out on the course, i.e. has tramping/rogaining experience. The leader must be with the team on every leg they attempt.

Make sure you are aware of any medical conditions or allergies within your team, and that every member of the team is fit to compete.

Please provide a valid email address for each competitor. This is so we can send you vital event and safety information; it will not be used for any other purpose!

2025 PRICING

TWALK is an entirely not-for-profit event run by volunteers. All and any excess that is made is either put towards running it the next year or donated to landowners/charity.

Payment will be made via visa/mastercard upon submission of team entry. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your entry and payment has been submitted.

INCLUDES:
– event entry
– transport to and from Christchurch (or Dunedin with OUTC)
– hash house food for 24 hours
– printed map for each competitor
– hire of live GPS tracking and comms device for each team

Help us run the event and be a volunteer!

We love volunteers, so if you might be keen to help out, either in route setting the weekend before the event or helping on the event itself please sign up! We love our volunteers!

Volunteers will be reimbursed for travel costs and kept fed with hash house food – won’t cost you anything!

This event can not happen without a bunch of volunteers. Bully your friends who don’t want to run around for 24 hours!
